What is Monkey Referrals?
Monkey Referrals is a referral program platform. Businesses add a small widget to their website and give customers referral codes. Promoters share those codes, and the business sees every referral and reward in one dashboard.
How does a referral program work?
You create a program with a reward and requirements. Promoters get a unique referral code and link. When a friend enters the code on your sign-up or checkout form, the referral is recorded as pending. When they reach your confirmation page it is confirmed, and you reward the promoter.
Is Monkey Referrals free?
Yes. The free plan includes one active referral program, unlimited successful referrals, referral tracking, reward management and a branded website widget. Pro is $29 per month and adds multiple active programs, an unbranded widget, campaign comparison and a top-promoter view.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. You paste one script tag on the page that holds your sign-up or checkout form. The widget adds a referral code field to the form automatically. There is no backend code to write.
Which website builders does it work with?
Any site where you can add a script tag, including WordPress, Shopify, Squarespace, Wix and plain HTML sites.

How are referrals confirmed?
Referrals use two steps to prevent fake sign-ups. Submitting your form records the referral as pending. Reaching your thank-you page confirms it. If you cannot add a snippet to your thank-you page, you can approve referrals manually from your dashboard.
How do promoters receive their rewards?
Each business sets its own reward, such as a discount, credit or free service, and fulfils it. Monkey Referrals tracks who referred whom and manages reward redemption requests so you can approve, reject or refund them with a note.
Do promoters need an account?
No. A promoter can enter an email address in the business directory to get a referral code. Creating a free account lets them keep all their codes in one place and share them with one tap.
Can I remove the "Powered by Monkey Referrals" badge?
Yes. The Pro plan removes the widget branding. The free plan shows a small Powered by Monkey Referrals link.
Can I run more than one referral program?
The free plan includes one active program. Pro lets you run several at once, for example a different reward for each service or location, and compare how each campaign performs.
How is my customers’ data handled?
We collect only what is needed to track referrals, such as names, email addresses and referral codes. We use Google Analytics for aggregate site statistics, with ad personalization turned off, and we do not use advertising trackers. Details are in our privacy policy.
